VIEWThe 2020 Prince of Hearts is the only wine that Claude & Katherine Blankiet bottled in 2020. It possesses quite a bit of depth and power, along with the distinctly ripe profile of a year marked by severe heat and drought before the fires became an issue. This is a good example of a wine smoke-affected, but not tainted. Because of the severe lack of sunlight, sugars ripened while phenolics stalled. As a result, the tannins are a bit severe. Even though, this is a very good wine.
