Deep ruby color. Blackberry, pepper, mint and tar on the vibrant nose. Lush but dry, with strong acids giving terrific cut and definition to the dark berry and bitter chocolate flavors. But this also offers excellent breadth and palate coverage. Finishes with full tannins that call for at least a few years of additional bottle aging.
